The Colorado Media Project at the University of Denver is an innovative new initiative that supports people and organizations who are building a more connected, collaborative, and sustainable local news and information ecosystem in Colorado.
Democracy Fund is proud to support the Colorado Media Project in collaboration with the Gates Family Foundation. The Colorado Media Project will catalyze the support of Colorado’s local news ecosystem. We believe healthy news ecosystems are a vital part of just communities and healthy democracies, and the Colorado Media Project will help provide long-term, sustainable support for the state’s local news organizations.
