Harvard Kennedy School: The Belfer Center

The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is part of the Harvard Kennedy School. The Belfer Center’s Defending Digital Democracy Project (D3P) generates bipartisan, practical solutions to better secure our campaigns and elections from cyberattacks and the influence of information operations.

The Defending Digital Democracy Project (D3P) is at the forefront of electoral cybersecurity defense. D3P has published several playbooks to help campaign and election officials defend themselves against cyberattacks and information operations aimed at undermining trust in the American election system, and their recommendations have been widely implemented. D3P also leads real world simulations (table top exercises) to ensure preparedness in elections offices.

Democracy Fund is proud to support the Defending Digital Democracy Project (D3P)‘s work to inform policy development so that legislators can address information operations in effective and bipartisan ways.
