Harvard Kennedy School: The Belfer Center

The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is part of the Harvard Kennedy School. The Belfer Center’s Defending Digital Democracy Project (D3P) generates bipartisan, practical research and solutions to better secure U.S. campaigns and elections from cyberattacks and the influence of information operations.


The Belfer Center’s Defending Digital Democracy Project (D3P) is a highly skilled and dedicated team that is helping election administrators and other government officials rise to the challenge of protecting our election systems. In advance of the 2020 election, D3P will conduct cybersecurity training for election officials, including cybersecurity incident simulations and public response preparation.
