Wayne State University: Levin Center

The Levin Center at Wayne State University Law School is dedicated to strengthening the integrity, transparency, and accountability of public and private institutions through academic programming, training, workshops, and scholarship.

WHY WE INVESTED

This grant to the Levin Center at Wayne Law will support its work to strengthen meaningful, bi-partisan oversight and investigations by Congress. The Levin Center conducts trainings for congressional staff, hosts conferences and symposiums, and builds a public narrative around the importance of fact-based oversight aimed at solving problems, rather than scoring political points.

The Levin Center is also training the next generation of oversight champions through its work in state legislatures by placing legal interns with oversight committee in Congress, and by working with the YMCA in Michigan to teach young people about the importance of government oversight through mock congressional investigations.
