Thought Partnerships

Thought Partnerships is dedicated to advancing non-violent, just, and inclusive societies. They create collective impact by building effective communities of practice.

Why We Invested

The Rights and Dignity (RAD) Working Group comprises representatives from The Omidyar Group, Democracy Fund, Humanity United and Luminate, and is committed to addressing conditions and systems of hate through a values-based, collaborative approach. Democracy Fund convenes and supports the working group.

The RAD Working Group recognizes that confronting systems of hate requires a range of different entities in a given area that are interconnected. Thought Partnerships, a fiscally sponsored project of NEO Philanthropies, builds effective cross sector communities of practice to promote non-violent, just societies through research, sharing and learning. Their methodology is centered around the understanding that peer-to-peer exchange and connection is a critical building block for any successful field of work and is a particularly powerful ingredient in sustaining and growing social justice movements.
