About the Project
In 2013, the Campaign Finance Institute and Bipartisan Policy Center convened a working group of scholars to recommend policy-relevant research priorities in the field of money and politics. Eighteen prominent scholars participated, bringing a variety of academic specialties to the table along with differing views about campaign finance policy. Their goal was to assess what scholars know, and what was most important to learn, in a field that is rapidly changing. The results were published in a symposium and released at two major events. The insights will guide CFI’s work moving forward.
In addition, as part of the project, the Campaign Finance Institute has put together a money and politics bibliography and made it available in searchable form on this site. It can be viewed here.
